Career Advocacy Program (CAP) and Mentorship

The goal is to connect children in deprived areas with successful women who have overcome similar struggles.

Many communities in Africa lack exposure to female professionals such as doctors, lawyers, MPs, and pilots, which limits children’s career aspirations to roles like teaching or nursing—careers they are familiar with because of what they’ve seen. In cities, female health workers are often perceived as nurses, while their male counterparts are seen as doctors.

This lack of exposure can lead to discomfort when encountering female professionals. By supporting this project, you help expose children in these communities to a broader range of career possibilities. Let’s reach out to these children and inspire them with the diverse career paths they can aspire to.
